In 2020, two great mates—Jeff and John—combined their love for American low and slow barbecue with a dash of competitive spirit to create Sticky Fingers Barbecue. If you're going to compete, you need a name that matches your passion, and that’s exactly what we did.
Our journey started with a burning desire to learn, grow, and share great barbecue. Our first event, the King of the Mountain in New Plymouth, only fueled the flame. Competing in the New Zealand Barbeque Alliance taught us so much, and we couldn’t wait for the next challenge.
Since that first comp, we’ve transformed into an award-winning Barbecue team, known for our consistent performance and mouthwatering results.
