To ensure the best quality "low and slow" meats, we typically require at least 7–14 days' notice for catering events. However, our calendar fills up fast—especially for summer weekends—so we recommend booking as early as possible.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Yes, our standard catering packages require a minimum of 20 people. For smaller groups, please contact us directly, as additional surcharges may apply to cover the long smoking process.

Do you require a deposit?

To secure your date, we require a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due prior to the event. For our full cancellation and postponement policy, please see the "Additional Information" section on our menu page.

On-Site & Logistics FAQs

Do you cook on-site or deliver the food hot?

We offer both! We can bring our professional smokers to your location so your guests can enjoy the incredible aroma and watch the process, or we can "cook and deliver" the food hot and fresh to your doorstep if you are short on space or time.

What areas of the North Island do you cover?

We are based in Auckland but proudly serve the wider North Island, including Hamilton, Tauranga, and the Waikato. Travel fees may apply depending on your location.

What do you need from the venue?

We are largely self-sufficient! If we are cooking on-site, we generally just need a flat area to park our smoker and equipment. We will discuss specific power or water requirements based on your custom menu during the planning phase.

Can you cater to dietary requirements (Gluten-Free, etc.)?

Absolutely. Most of our authentic smoked meats are naturally Gluten-Free. We can also provide vegetarian options like our Smoked Portobello Mushrooms. Please let us know about any allergies or requirements when booking so we can keep everyone safe and fed.

Do you provide plates, cutlery, and napkins?

Our standard buffet packages include fresh bread rolls, but we can also provide eco-friendly disposable plates and cutlery. Let us know if you’d like us to handle the "disposables" so you have zero cleanup!
